Current CAHS Student Appointments 

First-Year Mandatory Advising: If you are a first-year you are required to meet with your academic advisor in the fall and spring semesters of your first year to be able to register. 

​Second-Year Mandatory Advising: If you are a second-year majoring in Advanced Medical Imaging Technology, Food & Nutrition, and Dietetics you are required to see your advisor in the fall semester of your second year.  If you are a ​second-year majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health Sciences (all tracks), Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Social Work you are required to see your advisor in the spring semester of your second year. 

Transition Student Mandatory Advising: All transition students are required to meet with their assigned advisor in order to schedule classes for the following semester.​

​Third and Fourth Year Advising: If you are upperclassmen you are strongly encouraged to meet with your assigned advisor at least once a year in order to stay current on degree progress. 

Request permission for Closed CAHS Course Complete a form to request a seat in a closed class.

​Graduation Checks: Graduation checks can be completed online without an appointment. You should initiate a graduation check online no sooner than two semesters prior to completing your academic program.  The “grad check” will indicate whether college and university requirements are completed (and, if no, what courses must yet be taken).  If you are requesting a grad check you will receive a response from your academic advisor via email.
