Animal Audiology Certificate

How to Apply 

An online application to the certificate program in Animal Audiology must be submitted to the University of Cincinnati Graduate School at The application period is from January 1 - February 28.  All application materials must be submitted by February 28.  A non-refundable application fee of $20 payable to The University of Cincinnati must accompany the application. For the program, select AAUD, Animal Audiology Certificate. Once accepted, you can register online through the Onestop Student Center at  

The animal audiology certificate is offered both on campus and online.  Practicum for distance learning students is by individual arrangement.  Distance learning students are required to complete practicum at Fetch Lab.  Students are admitted into the certificate program in summer semester. All certificate courses are taken in summer semester.  Courses cannot be taken simultaneously.  You may take practicum hours at the same time you take courses.  Accepted students will receive a confirmation email by April 15 via the Graduate School with your UC ID number, email address and instructions on how to register.

Admission Requirements 

1)   Be a registered AuD (graduate) student at the University of Cincinnati or at another accredited AuD program.  Applicants from other accredited AuD programs please submit the following with your application:

  • proof of AuD degree with date of graduation or proof of attending an accredited AuD program
  • letter of intent
  • letter of recommendation


2)  Be a licensed, practicing audiologist.  Please submit the following with your application:

  • proof of licensure
  • letter of intent
  • letter of recommendation
