Rehabilitation Sciences

About the Program

The department of rehabilitative sciences centers on the body and movement. The department consists of two main areas: Health Sciences and Physical Therapy.

Health Sciences
If the movement of joints and muscles as a person participates in sports or other daily activities interests you, then Health Sciences (with an Exercise Science or a Sports and Biomechanics Concentration) would be an excellent degree choice.

Graduates will be prepared to work in wellness and fitness, to better understand coaching, to enter graduate programs in the allied health sciences, or to pursue research and retail opportunities.

This program also offers individuals with associate degrees in allied health disciplines such as respiratory therapy, physical therapist assisting, and health information systems the opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Bachelor of Science degree offered.


Physical Therapy

Has your dream been to help others improve their ability to function after an injury, illness or disease, or reach their maximum level of fitness?

In Physical Therapy, you could be working with individuals to evaluate their physical strength, flexibility, coordination and function, and then develop or carry out a plan to promote their optimal health.

Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree offered.
