The First-Year Experience and Mid-Collegiate Experience help to set our student's up for success in their last and final step , the Capstone Experience.
The Capstone Experience occurs in the senior or last year of our student's educational journeys. Here they incorporate professional, general education and major/expertise coursework knowledge in a real-world scenarios.
There are two types of Capstone Experiences that students participate in:
- PRAISE Research conference (Presentations of Research and Innovative/Scholarly Endeavors. Where students conduct their own research project and present their research poster during our annual celebration of student research.
- Clinical/Internship placements. Our student's train in a variety of hospitals, schools and agencies across the tri-state.
These three experiences combine to create a well-rounded graduate who is ready to take on their career upon graduation.
