Minor in Nutrition

Curriculum

The nutrition minor requires completion of 18 semester credit hours. In addition to the four required core classes, you must select 2 elective classes from the list below.

It is important to note that if you are wishing to select Advanced Nutrition I/II and Medical Nutrition Therapy I as electives you will need to have completed the appropriate science prerequisites.

A final average GPA of 2.5 or higher is required for all courses included in the minor. Certification of completion of the nutrition minor will be provided by Kristan Metz (kristan.metz@uc.edu).
