Do you need to schedule an appointment to meet with one of
our advisors? Do you have a general question that any knowledgeable UC staff
member could answer? If so, we now have a new e-mail account (cahs.advising@uc.edu)
for your convenience.
You will receive a response to your requests/inquiries within 24 hours if
submitted Monday through Thursday. Any requests submitted on a Friday will not
receive responses until the following Monday.
Before you submit a request online, please note the kinds of issues/concerns
listed below that can be addressed (if the topic/concern you have is not listed
below, send an e-mail directly to one of the advisors).
Many curriculum-related questions can be answered by
clicking on "Current Curriculum Sheets" at the bottom of the page.

How to schedule an advising appointment with us!
Step 1: Send an
E-mail to: CAHS.advising@uc.edu
Step 2: Type in
“advising appointment request” in the Subject Header so that we can quickly
contact you
to schedule an appointment for you.
Step 3: Provide the following information in
the body of the message so that we
may prepare for your
appointment appropriately:

Name (First and Last)
·
UC
ID number
·
Phone number where you can be reached
·
Bearcat e-mail address
Step 4:
Current Allied Health Science students: BRIEFLY describe purpose of the appointment
(i.e.
classes for a future term; re-taking classes; exploring other majors within the
college;
graduation contracts; etc.)
OR
All
other students who want to transition to Allied
Health Sciences:
identify your
CURRENT major
and/or institution, your desired major/s AND your desired
transition quarter
(i.e. Autumn, Winter, Spring or Summer Quarter).
Step 5:
For non-UC students only: Please fax a copy of an
official/unofficial transcript to
513-558-8545. Please specify the program of interest in the fax cover letter.
Step 6: List at least 3 or 4 different days
and times that work best for you for the upcoming two
weeks.
Please be advised that advisor calendars can get filled quickly, so it is
advantageous for you to
not expect to meet with an advisor for at least 3 or 4
four days after the date
the request is submitted. We will do everything in our
power to schedule at the
earliest possible time available. You will receive an
e-mail
confirmation of the scheduled appointment as well as a reminder to
contact us if
you need to re-schedule.
Step 7:
If you need to re-schedule or cancel for any reason, please contact the advisor
(Kristan Metz or
Mike Rosenberg) with whom you have
an appointment. You should
include new times (as in Step 6) when you will be available. If you no-show for
two or
more appointments, your registration may be restricted.
