Competencies

The University of Cincinnati MHA program utilizes the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) Competency Model version 3.0 to measure student competency attainment throughout the program’s 13 courses.  MHA courses address all seven domains and measure 22 competencies of the NCHL competency model.

Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program at the University of Cincinnati is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).

CAHME’s mission is to serve the public interest by advancing the quality of healthcare management education by:

  • Setting measurable criteria for excellent healthcare management education
  • Supporting, assisting and advising programs which seek to meet or exceed the criteria and continuously improve
