Academic Advising

The mission of the Office of Advising & Academic Services is to facilitate and promote high-quality advising across UC academic advising units through coordination, academic services, technology, professional development, and leadership support.

Accessibility Resources

The Accessibility Resources Office is dedicated to empowering students with disabilities or short term circumstances through the delivery of reasonable accommodations and support services by bridging post-secondary education with future real-world experiences. Services include captioning, course content accomodations, software and more.

Enrollment Services

Enrollment Services (formerly OneStop) is the integrated customer service area representing the offices of the Bursar, Registrar, and Student Financial Aid. Their Parent FAQ contains frequently asked questions about bills, financial aid, registration and how record privacy affects parent access to information.

Experience-Based Learning and Career Education

The Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education serves as a fully integrated career preparation hub within the University of Cincinnati. Providing students, employers and partners a single point of contact for experience-based learning opportunities and transition-to-career services.

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons provides centralized academic support for University of Cincinnati students. Bringing together faculty, best-practices in teaching and learning, and hundreds of outstanding peer educators to create flexible academic success programming.

Math and Sciences Support Center

Part of the Learning Commons, the Math and Science Support Center (MASS) Center includes free tutor-supported study tables for many undergraduate mathematics courses, in addition to several science courses that require strong mathematical competency. 

Pre-Professional Advising Center

The Pre-Professional Advising Center helps students pursuing health professions careers explore their options, prepare an outstanding portfolio and then apply to professional schools. 

Registrar's Office

The Registrar's Office provides a wealth of registration and course-related information, and maintains students' academic and educational records.

Success Coaching

The College of Allied Health Sciences offers success coaching, which aims to bolster students' support systems, elevate retention and graduation rates, and foster academic achievement, particularly among those who self-identify as underrepresented minorities, Pell-eligible, or first-generation. 

Testing Services

Helping members of the University of Cincinnati and the Greater Cincinnati community reach educational and professional goals by providing secure and convenient testing services following the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.

UC Libraries

The libraries provide Bearcats with a wealth of quality, diverse, and innovative resources to enhance student learning and research, and support their academic experience. Staff are readily available to help students find the information and resources they need.

African-American Cultural & Resource Center (AACRC)

The AACRC fosters an atmosphere where lively conversation is welcomed and encouraged, leadership development and academic success are prioritized, and quiet study spaces are regularly utilized. Helping students prepare to become effective leaders by, influencing academic excellence through programming and recognition, providing connections, building community relationships and recruiting and retaining students.

The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is dedicated to upholding the Bearcat Bond by Administering the Student Code of Conduct.

Student Government

Student Government is the official representative of all students and acts as a liaison between university administration, governmental authorities, and the student body in order to serve the needs of Bearcats and enhance the student experience.

Women's Center

Health & Safety

University Health Services

University Health Services is a comprehensive healthcare clinic for students. All registered students can be seen at the facility and most insurance plans are accepted.

Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides mental health services, training and education, brief treatment services, and 24/7 crisis support services. Get to know the CAHS embbeded counselor and learn more about the services CAPS offers. 

Student Wellness Center

The Student Wellness Center empowers students to make informed decisions regarding their health and wellness by providing evidence-based education, inclusive resources, and non-judgmental support.

Public Safety

The Department of Public Safety at the University of Cincinnati is committed to providing a safe campus environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Bearcat Guardian App

Bearcat Guardian is a state-of-the-art safety app that allows you to turn your cell phone into a safety device. It works on any mobile phone running on any US-based mobile carrier network. The app allows users to: Select Guardians, such as friends and family members, to check in on you when you are alone or in an unfamiliar place. Your Guardians can virtually walk with you on or off campus and much more.

NightRide

The NightRide Shuttle, managed by the University of Cincinnati's Transportation Services, provides safe transportation for students, staff and faculty within one mile of UC's main campus. The shuttle runs Monday to Sunday (8pm-2am) along 15 stops.

Athletics

The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is committed to comprehensive excellence in the pursuit of creating meaningful academic, athletic and social experiences for our student-athletes. We compete for victory and will represent our University and community with pride and distinction.

Residence Halls/Housing

Residence hall communities provide a safe, convenient home-away-from-home, and a low-stress environment. Student resident advisors (RAs) and full-time, professional staff Community Coordinators are always available to students.

Resident Education & Development (RED)

Resident Education and Development creates a residential program for our students that is focused on learning, leadership, inclusion, and community.

Campus Recreation Center

Cincinnati's Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is a state-of-the-art fitness and recreation facility on its Uptown West Campus. With over 200,000 square feet of recreation space, the CRC offers university students, employees and friends of the university a wide range of exercise and fitness opportunities.

Money Matters

Bearcat Card

The Bearcat Card is the official UC identification card and allows your student to make purchases. They can swipe it to make transactions across campus and at participating off-campus restaurants and stores.

Bursar's Office

The Office of the Bursar serves the university through the collection of fees, both academic and non-academic. The Bursar also has the responsibility for notifying students with timely information relating to their financial account at UC.

Financial Aid

The Student Financial Aid Office is committed to making your college education affordable. Regardless of your income, you have the potential to afford the quality education that the University of Cincinnati provides. Nearly every student is eligible for some form of financial assistance.

Student Jobs

There are a variety of on-campus employment opportunities available to students. Additional part-time employement and internship opportunities can be found on Handshake. 

Emergency Funds

CAHS offers Emergency Funds available to support you when unexpected expenses arise in emergency situations.

Bearcat Pantry & Resource Center

The Bearcats Pantry and Resource Center provides a variety of food, school items and even professional clothing to students free of charge. 

Getting Around

Parking Services

The function of the Parking Services Office is to provide safe and well maintained parking facilities that are as convenient as possible for the UC community.

Bearcat Transportation System

The Bearcat Transportation System manages multiple shuttle routes throughout the year, which provide more than a half-million rides annually for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the university community.  

UC Bikeshare

Bicycles can be checked out, at no cost, to anyone with a UCID at the UC Bike Kitchen for up to one week at a time!

Zipcar

The world’s leading car-sharing network, Zipcar, lets students rent a variety of cars on demand, by the hour or the day, around campus and the city of Cincinnati.
