Why study Health Care : Administration?

The Health Care Administration certificate is for health care professionals who aspire to be at the central point of control. The mix of finance, economics and managerial courses coupled with healthcare topics arm health care professionals with skills needed to lead, manage and administer a health care system, hospital or hospital network.

Admission Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution

Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work when offered admission.

Undergraduate degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)

One reference which addresses the applicant’s academic readiness for graduate-level work, the applicant’s work ethic and habits, and the applicant’s communications and interpersonal skills.

Resume/CV of personal, professional and educational background.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to highlight experience in health care.

A personal statement which must include the following information: academic goals, professional objectives, work plan for completing the degree, and level of motivation for this program. The statement should be no more than three double-spaced pages.

International applications must have a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 580 (paper version), 237 (computer), or 93 (internet), and obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees and other relevant documents.
