Teaching Engagement and Lifelong Language
Teaching Engagement and Lifelong Language (TELL) is a program that focuses on enhancing communication by providing personalized support and education for participants with Down Syndrome. TELL has partnered up with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati to connect with and provide opportunities for therapy services to more adults in the Cincinnati area. The goal of TELL is to increase participation with others, create positive interactions and focus on individual’s strengths to help reduce communication breakdowns. Therapy sessions are held in a group environment and incorporate new methods and strategies that are provided by our graduate students in the UC SLP program. The graduate clinicians help provide the most effective, evidence-based and personalized treatment. Potential members are encouraged to register through the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati’s website.
