Early Assurance Pathways
The Doctor of Therapy program offers two early assurance pathways
Physical Therapy High School Early Assurance Pathway
The High School Early Assurance Pathway (HEAP) is for high school students interested in studying Health Sciences - Pre-Physical Therapy at the University of Cincinnati. Acceptance to the pathway is limited to highly qualified incoming first year students only, and students are admitted to the pathway in the fall semester only.
Physical Therapy Junior Early Assurance Pathway
The Junior Early Assurance Pathway (JEAP) allows high achieving health sciences students in the UC College of Allied Health Sciences to apply for early admission into the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program during their junior year. Students should be junior level standing in the Health Sciences program at UC and must have been a UC student (regardless of major or campus) as an entering first-year student.
