Why study Health Sciences?
The University of Cincinnati Online Bachelor of Health Sciences - Pre-Occupational Therapy program provides students with an associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting (OTA) the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. The curriculum provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a graduate-level occupational therapy degree and opportunities for professional advancement. Designed for full or part-time students, every class is available online, making it possible to receive your BS in Health Sciences in 2 to 4 years. You can earn your degree on your timeline with start dates each semester.
The University of Cincinnati’s online programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Our knowledgeable instructors are experienced in the industry, experts in their field, and dedicated to our student body.
This program also has a dedicated program director, an experienced occupational therapist, who will also teach one of your classes.

Occupational therapy graduate program admission requirements differ among institutions, so students should review prerequisite courses relevant to graduate programs of interest and work with their advisors to reach their goals. Due to the competitive nature of admissions to most OT graduate programs, completion of this degree does not guarantee acceptance to an occupational therapy program.

Students completing the program can obtain a minor in psychology and are able to get an additional minor in public health by taking six additional credit hours.
