How to Apply

The application procedure for the MA Online program is separate and not related to the application procedures for the ​on campus program.  The program does not use the CSDCAS application in any way. Anyone applying to both programs will have to complete both processes. 

Steps to apply: 

• Complete a UC Graduate School application
• Complete/enroll for prerequisite courses. 
• Ensure that you qualify for the program's distance requirement - you must live within 4 hours of driving distance to the university. 
• Submit full application via the Graduate School 
  
• Three (3) letters of recommendation (LOR) are needed and it is strongly recommended that at least 2 of the reference letters be written by instructors who can speak to your academic abilities and potential success as a graduate student. 
• Transcripts from each college or university (including community colleges even if you took college classes during high school)  attended must be sent (address to send transcripts will be provided in the invitation to submit the full application)
